Job Overview:

Amity University Jharkhand is seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Professor of Computer Science to join our esteemed faculty on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, developing innovative curricula, and conducting impactful research in key areas such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. This role requires an immediate joiner, and Ph.D. pursuing scholars are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on sessions in Computer Science and related disciplines.
• Design, develop, and update curricula in emerging areas such as AI & ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Programming.
• Conduct cutting-edge research in relevant fields and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Supervise and mentor students in their academic and research projects.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications.
• Engage in departmental activities, academic planning, and university-wide initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology and education methodologies.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Ph.D. (or pursuing) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI & ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Strong background in Data Science, AI, ML, and Cybersecurity.
• Ability to conduct independent research and contribute to academic publications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a student-focused approach.
