Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support and/or lead all aspects of project management including scope, timelines, budget, vendor resources and internal collaborators, communication, requirements, risks, and post-launch maintenance
  • Lead and schedule necessary project-related meetings such as kick-offs, weekly status meetings, work sessions, deliverable reviews, and functional testing
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps that clearly outline the planned objectives and enhancements, timelines, and achievements
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the systems, including technological risks, financial control impact, and user acceptance
  • Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and other international locations
  • Responsible for the Change Management of Projects (RPA, System Implementations & Process Optimizations, Integrations, etc). Works with Global teams to ensure effective requirement gathering and leads communication and training at relevant levels in the organization
  • Crafting project documentation including process flow, business case analysis, requirement specifications, testing, and presentations to leadership
  • Establish roles & responsibilities for project teams
  • Provide guidance and training for project team and impacted collaborators
  • Manage collaborators proactively by serving as a focal point to drive integrated project messaging and project management activities including reporting of existing automation in production
  • Use judgment and decision making to establish priorities, resolve differences, make business trade-offs, and sequence initiatives to achieve automation and process improvement goals
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by establishing clear goals, objectives and priorities that communicate the accounting automation and continuous improvement program priorities/status
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Teams by leading retrospectives, encouraging innovation, promoting Agile and work with teams to plan and implement
  • Enhance and develop playbooks, templates, tracking and reporting mechanisms that will provide consistency and transparency to action, status, risks and metrics
  • Support annual International Internal Control Certification and/or quarterly SOX process including assessment of projects (like RPA) on existing control framework.
  • Oversight and coordination of activities with third-party service providers (including risk management documentation) and cross functionally to ensure appropriate service is provided and any issues are resolved
  • Support accurate, complete and timely monthly and quarterly accounting close.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and 2 years of finance experience OR
  • Bachelors degree and 4 years of finance experience OR
  • Associates degree and 10 years of finance experience OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of finance experience
  • Project management experience or certification
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), RPA or other technologies supporting the accounting function
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges with data
  • Detailed oriented and highly motivated
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to take the initiative and work under a minimum supervision
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team
  • Work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • An ongoing commitment to learning and staying at the forefront of AI/ML advancements.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and Test Automation Processes in software delivery

Professional Certifications:

  • NSE (mandatory)
  • CCNA (mandatory)
  • CISSP (preferred)
  • AWS SAA-C03 / Azure AZ-305 / GCP-PCA (preferred)
