This role ensures the development team adheres to standard methodologies and definitions of done while proactively identifying technical debt and collaborating with the Architect and Product Owner to prioritize its resolution. The lead is accountable for improving development practices by demonstrating AI and automation to enhance quality and speed. They take a hands-on approach to innovation, working on proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate the technical feasibility of backlog items. Additionally, the role involves designing and breaking down technical work to minimize dependencies and improve team flow during sprints. The Senior Manager Information Systems supports testing and validation to ensure reliable and impactful deliverables. This role will be a people manager and responsible for career development for employees.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals and developers
• Oversee the development team to ensure adherence to established standard methodologies and definitions of done, maintaining high-quality standards in deliverables.
• Proactively identify technical debt and collaborate with the Architect and Product Owner to prioritize and address it effectively.
• Innovate and improve development workflows by demonstrating AI and automation tools to increase efficiency, speed, and quality.
• Lead the development of proofs of concept to validate the technical feasibility of product backlog items.
• Design and decompose technical tasks to minimize interdependencies and optimize the team's workflow during sprints.
• Support the testing and validation of deliverables to ensure reliability, performance, and alignment with business goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree and 2 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
• Masters degree with 8 - 10 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
• Bachelors degree with 10 - 14 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
• Diploma with 14 - 18 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field
• Strong ability to lead development teams and collaborate with Product Owners and Architects for task prioritization and execution.
• Ability to train and guide junior developers in standard methodologies.
• Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Strong understanding of declarative tools like Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
• Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), system integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical debt while designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Expertise in demonstrating AI and automation tools to improve development quality and efficiency.
• Experience creating proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate new ideas or backlog items.
• Hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and validating deliverables for reliability and performance.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, sprint planning, and minimizing team dependencies.

• Experience demonstrating AI, automation, or innovative Salesforce tools.
• Proficiency in data migration, modeling, and security configurations.
• Knowledge of Lightning Design System and creating user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience in fine-tuning Salesforce orgs for scalability and speed.
• Familiarity with industry-specific Salesforce tools like Health Cloud or Financial Services Cloud.
