We seek a Senior Manager Software Development Engineering to join our team of experienced software developers.

We are seeking an adept, curious, and seasoned Manager with expertise in Software development to lead our dynamic team of Software developers Engineers.

The chosen candidate will head a group of 8+ skilled Software developers Engineers (Front and back) in charge of our global transportation platform..

Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, UX), the Manager will grasp the intricacies of their priorities, objectives, and requisites, steering the team towards alignment. This pivotal role calls for substantial experience in navigating intricate business conundrums alongside internal teams.

The role mandates impeccable communication, adept presentation skills, a knack for navigating uncertainty, and the capacity to innovate and troubleshoot.

What You ll Do on a Typical Day

- Collaborate closely to build new features from inception to production, working across the company with product managers, UX designers and other teams in an agile environment.

- Play an instrumental role in shaping and driving the roadmap for recommendations, encompassing prioritization strategies.

- Spearhead a talented cohort of of 8+ skilled Software developers Engineers, propelling the development of models that elevate Egencias product suite and enhance service delivery.

- Remain abreast of the latest developments in Software developments, and make sure your team deliver tested and optimized high performance code.

- Provide technical mentorship to the team while also offering strategic insights to leadership when necessary.

- Analyse customer feedback and identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.

- Contribute to our inner-source culture (Internal Open Source) by delivering high quality code that levels up not only your team, but the entire organization.

- Ensure the production duties for the services owned by your team: Monitoring, Release Management,

What We re Looking For

- A track record of 8+ years as a Software Developer within a corporate setting; experience in management is considered a valuable asset.

- Proficiency in the tenets and techniques of frontend and backend software development.

- Demonstrable history of conceiving and overseeing projects that pivot around data.

- Skill in adapting communication styles to cater to diverse teams and audiences.

- A potent blend of assertiveness and team camaraderie.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and associated tools.
