We are a billion-dollar revenue company, head-quartered in Houston and the regional office being in Singapore. We are also one of the largest classification society, operating in the shipping domain. ABS Professional Services (India) Private Limited, We develop our own software products and ERP products, in the shipping domain.

Work Location : Pune (Hybrid)

Role:

As an Architect, we expect 15+ years of experience in software development with minimum 3+ years experience in Architecture, Design, Java, JEE, Azure platform, Express JS, Node JS, HTML5, Javascript, React JS, Redux, GraphQL, Application Integrations, and Asynchronous Data Processing. Candidate should have hands-on experience in Requirement Gathering, Design, Development, Unit Testing & Training, Deployment/CICD, and Hyper-care Support. 

What You Will Do:

• Develop the understanding of the architecture of our current implementation.
• Develop the existing system functional flow and integration understanding.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• Participate in requirement gathering and solution architecture design.
• Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements.
• Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
• Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements.
• Provide input into final decisions regarding design, hardware, network products, system software and security.
• Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client and the project Infrastructure and environment management.
• Proactively identify areas of automation and optimization and provide solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Manage multiple technical environments and support the development and testing processes.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• Required 15+ years work experience.
• Minimum 15 years of full-time education
• Associated certifications are a plus.
• Experience and understanding in Architecture, Design, Java, JEE, Azure platform, Express JS, Node JS, HTML5, Javascript, React JS, Redux, GraphQL, Application Integrations, Asynchronous data processing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Understanding to integrate layers like UI, WebServices, GraphQL API, ReST API.
• Develop and support GraphQL API and ReSTful webservices.
• Ability to participate actively in client workshops, business requirements gathering meetings.
• Has prepared technical specification and system architecture and design documents
• Configure software systems to meet development requirements end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance including testing, to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system. 
• Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client and the project Infrastructure and environment management. 

It Would Be Nice If You Have:

• Windchill and Maximo knowledge
• Familiar with/exposed to Project Planning, Estimation, Project Tracking, and Reporting.
• Well versed in AGILE SCRUM knowledge and Non-Functional requirements.
• Experience in Oracle SQL performance tuning.
• Working on GitHub, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Jira

Reporting Relationships:

Will report to a Senior Delivery Manager and may have direct reports. 

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
