DevOps Architect II

Develop and maintain tools that ensure smooth operations of o9s cloud-based solution;

Develop and deploy best-in-class tools that support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes;

Perform system and network administration; manage o9 platform deployment at AWS, Azure, Google Cloud;

Use Dockers to deploy and manage containers;

Monitor infrastructure health using ELK cluster;

Administer databases that are part of o9 platforms using MS SQL, Mongo

Develop and debug Custom Integration service tasks

8+ years of experience in DevOps role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling with a Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management OR 10+ years of experience in a DevOps role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management

Experience with Dockers or similar and experience with Kubernetes or similar; and Hadoop

Skills: Proficient with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins or similar technologies, Ansible, Terraform , Administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo)

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go, coupled with scripting experience

Significant experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI

Solid grasp of networking principles and adherence to security best practices in cloud environments

Proactive in staying current with developments in web applications, programming languages, software approaches, and architectures Adapt to these changes through self-training and research work

Ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability) are considered during solution design and implementation

Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones

Cloud Architect certification and or K8 certification is preferred
