Software Engineer

Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the development process

Take an active part in all development phases including design, development and delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Provide technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, problem resolution for critical / complex issues while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable and supportable
Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds
Bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques, and reusing existing solutions.

Bachelors degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent and 3-4 years experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.
Experience in software development with a strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Html, CSS, sql, RESTful APIs and web services
Should be able to gain in depth product knowledge by handling issues across different releases and of varied complexity
Should have good reporting abilities and proactively raise and mitigate risks
Should have excellent debugging and analytical skills
Should have a customer centric attitude with being focused on customer satisfaction by providing high quality support to customer queries/incidents
Should be able to handle complex technical tasks, both development and support
Self-motivated, proactive, team player, organized and responsive.
Should be excellent in communication skills and attention to details
Should display a positive attitude and strong work ethics always
