Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies

This role is for the Transshipment (TransferX) team which is responsible to build core software components/services that orchestrate the movement of inventory between warehouses (IXD to FC, FC to FC, AFT non-AFT WMS) while providing visibility on in-transit inventory, driving reconciliation of inventory as part of transfer and publishing accurate lead time to SCOT systems for high fidelity promise and planning decisions. Worldwide, the TransferX team supports 570+ FCs and enabled the transfer of 18. 5 billion units in 2021 saving $1+ billion cost savings.

AFT s Inbound team delivers innovative solutions to automatically receive and process billions of units of inventory from Amazon s vendors and third-party sellers worldwide, making the merchandise quickly available to Amazon customers.

Key job responsibilities
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
