Amazon is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Development Manager (SDM) to join the EU INTechs PGX Org in Bangalore. The Software Development Manager of this team will be responsible for managing the team s roadmap, creating innovating culture to bring ideas to delight our customers, working with product managers in shaping the ideas to a fine product features, working with diverse stakeholders to deliver the right things at the right time, reviewing design/architectures, guiding team with right technical choices and hiring & creating right opportunities to grow the team. The team s software is backed by Java, Amazon Internal services and 3P libraries.

The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, have an affinity to being a leader, have experience running software teams with Agile methodologies, and experience owning a product roadmap for shipping software.
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 5+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
