Key job responsibilities
As an Engineering leader, youll be responsible for:
Lead design, development, and deploy robust, scalable fraud detection and prevention systems for a securing Amazon customers.
Define multi-year vision for the space
Provide technical leadership, influencing technology and product direction in your area of expertise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, and sharing your knowledge to drive optimal solutions.
Utilize data analysis for informed product and technical decisions, navigating ambiguity, and driving continuous improvement.
Create comprehensive documentation and presentations to effectively communicate security risks and best practices to diverse audiences.
Embrace a culture of learning, using incidents and challenges as opportunities for product and process enhancement. - 8+ years of engineering experience
- 4+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
