1. Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of PCBAs

Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of failures in Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
Develop troubleshooting plans and methodologies for accurate diagnosis of recurring and complex issues.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and minimize defect rates.
Provide timely feedback and reports to Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) for implementing corrective actions.
Monitor and document effectiveness of corrective measures to prevent recurring issues.

2. Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Governance

Oversee the installation, setup, and calibration of Automated Test Equipment to meet operational standards.
Perform regular inspections and validations to ensure ATEs operate at optimal performance levels.
Lead the maintenance schedule, including preventive and corrective maintenance, to maximize uptime and accuracy.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ATE usage, safety, and troubleshooting.
Manage software updates and hardware upgrades as needed to keep ATE current and compliant with industry standards.

3. Statistical Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to PCBAs, including failure rates, defect patterns, and repair timelines.
Prepare detailed reports on troubleshooting outcomes, equipment performance, and defect trends.
Maintain a data dashboard with KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Identify trends or patterns in equipment failures and provide insights for improvement to management and CFTs.

4. Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting processes, test results, and maintenance activities.
Ensure records are updated to reflect any changes in processes or equipment configurations.
Adhere to all industry and safety standards, ensuring that all ATE procedures comply with internal and external regulations.
Coordinate with compliance teams to prepare for audits, ensuring all records and equipment align with regulatory requirements.

5. Team Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and engineering teams to streamline troubleshooting and testing processes.
Regularly update relevant teams and stakeholders on the status of equipment, troubleshooting outcomes, and root cause analysis findings.
Foster a collaborative environment for identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
Train technicians and other team members on troubleshooting techniques and the correct use of ATE.

6. Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance troubleshooting efficiency and ATE performance.
Work with Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
Propose and lead projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency, equipment reliability, and product quality.
Engage in professional development and stay current on industry advancements to bring innovative solutions to the team.
