Full-stack Sr Developer cum Tech Lead (Cloud) - Kolkata

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced full-stack Designer & Developer to join our product development team. As a Designer and senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining applications and APIs. Your expertise in React, Node js, JavaScript, SQL, and database management will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other full-stack developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement APIs.
• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure services using Java or Javascript, Python and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Express, Flask).
• Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity using SQL (preferably PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Work with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform code reviews.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure code quality

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development environment
• Strong proficiency in React, Java , Node js, JavaScript and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Express).
• Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and query optimization.
• Expertise in writing DB Functions and Stored Procedures
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of proxy like Nginx.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in developing backends using microservices
• Knowledge of caching, message queues, and asynchronous processing.
• Understanding of security best practices and authentication mechanisms.
• Product development background is highly desired.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of GraphQL, socketIO.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of SEO best practices & Familiarity with OpenShift
