Site Reliability Engineer

Altizon is looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team. Altizons Datonis platform is a highly scalable, cloud based IoT platform that provides an end-to-end solution for connecting machines, ingesting massive amounts of data and driving insights using data analytics and AI.

As a part of this team, you will be responsible for platform functionality, performance enhancements, managing scale and complexity and operational excellence. You will also closely work with our customers to ensure a successful deployment and subsequent rollout of the solution.

Preferred skill set:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science /IT/ENTC
• Should have AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification or AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner certification
• Understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Aware of DevOps Tools (e.g. Docker, - for containerization, Git-for version control, Ansible-for configuration management)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline and continuous integration is the best practice.
• Knowledge about monitoring tools - CloudWatch, Prometheus, Nagios
• Knowledge about ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Good programming skills with scripting languages - BASH, Python, Curl
• Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience in creating and managing enterprise production environments with high scale
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals
