Intern - Software Quality Assurance

Alternative Path is looking for QA Interns to join the team to assist different clients we work with. As a Software QA Intern, you will collaborate with our senior engineers on assignments in various departments of the company to define and craft new products and features for our platform, and to improve existing ones. You will have a large degree of independence and trust, but you won't be isolated, the support of the Engineering team leads, the Product team leads, and every other technology team member is behind you. You will bring your projects from initial conception through all the cycles of development: from project definition to development, debugging, initial release and subsequent iteration. You will also take part in shaping the architecture of the product, including our deployment infrastructure, to fit the growing needs of the platform.

Location: Gurgaon, India (Currently WFH)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and Interpret business requirements and end user feedback to provide meaningful timely inputs and apply analysis to the testing process.
• Create comprehensive Testing strategies/plans, techniques, approach and test data that you will use to test new features.
• Report defects for the issues found under testing and manage the defect through its life cycle.
• Create Test cases, test execution and bug reports.
• Automating the existing regression cases at UI and API levels using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve issues in timely manner and deliver high quality products and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA test strategy and Processes.

Desired Skills:

• B.Sc.in Computer Science (Final Year Student/2025 Batch)
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of OOPS concepts, SQL, and relational Databases.
• Highly developed analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and Presentation skills
• Self-Motivated and Result-Oriented
• Ability to Interact with cross-functional teams.

Stipend: INR 1,000 per working day

Start date: 13th January 2025 ( 6 Months Internship)

Work Timing: 1 PM - 9 PM (Monday to Friday)

*Interested candidates must have a laptop to work during the internship period.

Upon successful performance evaluation and receipt of positive feedback, this role will be converted into a full-time position as Software Engineer - Quality Assurance.
