Software Engineer
ABOUT US
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product team members to fully understand business requirements and create clear functional specifications.
- Monitor the progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Analyze and implement user requirements/business needs as new and/or enhanced product functionality.
- Design, code, test, and document software code for Solvas
- Communicate with technical and business leaders on business requirements, system-related capabilities, programming progress, and enhancement status.
Qualifications
Required:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in application development.
- Strong proficiency in working with Microsoft .NET using C#.
- Experience with microservice based architectures.
- Experience developing web-based client/server applications.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, architecture, and design.
- Experience writing unit level tests with testing frameworks such as Xunit.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB from .NET clients.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of RESTful API services.
- Exposure to gRPC, Git, Azure DevOps (previously VSTS).
- Experience in Cloud Deployment (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services).
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes Helm.
