Alstom - Solution Expert - Enovia VPM (8-12 yrs)

Position : ENOVIA VPM V4 & CATIA V5 Solution Expert

JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the IS&T Engineering Lead architect, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining the Mechanical Design domain (mainly based on Dassault Systemes ENOVIA VPM V4 & CATIA V5 platform), and you will act as a member of the PLM control tower to ensure overall consistency.

YOUR JOB :

- Ensure alignment with Mtiers global business processes for Mechanical Design solutions (mainly based on Dassault Systemes ENOVIA VPM V4 & CATIA V5 platform)

- Collect and manage demands from central Business

- Prepare recommendations for decisions-making at Change Control Board

- Maintain solution referential & design documentation

- Conduct pre-studies, deliver high level designs and support execution of IS&T projects.

- Create Functional specifications and Technical specifications.

- Define business process workflow in alignment with OOTB recommended practices.

- Understand various OOTB capabilities and design possible customizations.

- Construct and execute systematic test procedures for IS systems or customer usability requirements to establish compliance with design specifications.

- Produce documents and report to evidence certification requirements.

- Respond to user requests and issues, recording relevant information.

- Support the deploy, define and conduct the adapted trainings

- Support operations teams with regards to critical incidents

- Analyze technology industry and business trends and determine their potential applicability at Alstom data analytics capabilities and the appropriate mechanisms to make (a) decisions.

- Support roll-out, ensuring that Core Model is applied.

Mechanical Design domain contains the following macro-processes :

- xCAD & DMU Management

- EBOM Management

- Mechanical & Physical Harness Design management

Major challenges for next years, on this scope will be multiple, and structuring for Alstom :

- PLM transformation program

- Digital transformation for engineering processes

- Bring adoption to next level by enhancing user responsiveness, mobility

PROFILE :

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes :

- Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology

- You have a strong knowledge and more than 7 years of experience in Dassault Systemes ENOVIA VPM V4 & CATIA V5 solutions on various roles (business / functional architecture / core model definition, solution deployment)

- You have a strong knowledge on Engineering business processes, from industrial companies designing and manufacturing complex products

- You have worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles

- You demonstrate good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.

- You have a very strong leadership and are business value oriented.

- Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
