Sales Engineer - Cutting Tools

Role & responsibilities

• Product Sales: Promote and sell cutting tools (e.g., drills, mills, lathes, saws) to manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial clients.
• Client Consultation: Work with customers to understand their specific needs and recommend appropriate cutting tools based on the materials they work with and the manufacturing processes they use.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest cutting tool technologies, features, and industry trends to effectively demonstrate and explain products to clients.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to encourage repeat business and expand the customer base.
• Negotiation & Closing Sales: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while meeting sales targets.
• After-Sales Support: Provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting and addressing product concerns, and ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
• Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the company.
• Market Research: Conduct research to identify new market opportunities, potential clients, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts to report to management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and technical support teams to ensure clients needs are met and to resolve any product-related issues.
