NLP Engineer

Role

We are looking for a NLP Engineer who can help develop and improve our large-scale search and retrieval systems. In this role, you will:

• Research and develop novel search and retrieval techniques that combine traditional search, embeddings, and LLMs.
• Fine-tune domain-specific embeddings models for knowledge work tasks.
• Collaborate with researchers to train downstream models and develop agentic workflows that leverage our in-house retrieval algorithms.
• Develop infrastructure for low-latency search and retrieval systems operating over millions of complex documents.
• Develop and implement QA algorithms
• Interact with domain to prepare training data
• Device huerisitc rules to fine tune the retrieval

Qualifications

5+ years experience writing code using Python

MS plus 3-5+ years experience in Information Retrieval focus on combining Traditional and neural QA

Hands on experience on building Question Answering systems

Experience in natural language processing tools, including some of the following:

• working with large language models
• text classification
• natural language generation
