Job Overview:

At Foundation AI, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Lead with expertise in Generative AI and LLMs to join our team. As a Data Science Lead, you will play a crucial role in

developing and implementing cutting-edge generative models and algorithms to solve complex

problems and generate high-quality outputs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of

researchers, engineers, and data scientists to explore innovative applications of NLP and Generative AI across various domains. Join our team and contribute to the development of groundbreaking NLP solutions. Together, we can push the boundaries of what is possible in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of Machine Learning / Deep Learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversees the entire data science lifecycle, ensuring models are properly developed, validated, and deployed in all the environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data science strategies that align with business objectives and identify new opportunities where data science can add value.
• Design and plan solutions, select appropriate algorithms, and manage technical resources to solve business problems effectively.
• Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional
  development.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as product, engineering, and business, to align data science projects with company goals.
• Build and foster a collaborative team culture, ensuring best practices are followed and team members are effectively leveraging resources.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
• Implement and monitor data quality standards, model fairness, and interpretability, ensuring ethical practices in data use and modeling.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for data science projects and regularly evaluate model performance.
• Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, including LLMs and GPTs with a minimum of 1 year of experience on the same, and other related techniques.

Skills and Tools:

• Looking for a minimum of 8+ Years of experience.
• Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing generative models using Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow - 2 years experience, PyTorch - 2 years experience) in the area of NLP. Demonstrated expertise in working with LLMs, GPTs, or other generative AI techniques. Experience with large-scale dataset handling and training deep neural networks is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with relevant libraries and tools. Strong mathematical and statistical skills, including linear algebra and probability theory. Experience with cloud computing platforms and GPU acceleration is a plus.
• Research and Publication: Track record of research contributions in generative AI, demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences or journals. Active participation in the AI research community, such as attending conferences or workshops, is highly valued.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in generative AI. Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret experimental results.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability and Learning: Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and generative models. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies

Education:

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A strong background in deep learning, generative models, and computer vision is preferred.
