Job Description
- Create highly usable, optimized, and scalable software that is very stable after thorough functional and technical analysis by writing quality code
- Analyze any reported issues for quick bug resolution
- Design optimized database structure with normalization, for the project, as per functional requirements
- Mentor team on managing performance related issues involving database optimization
- Mentor team to address non-functional requirements like concurrency & multithreading
- Plan and manage development sprints for successful completion of projects
- Responsible for product code reviews involving code merging and code quality
- Groom and train juniors for required technical and related skills for successful and on-schedule completion of projects
- Constantly update and incorporate technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading books, and accessing new applications
- BCA / B.E. / B.Sc. (IT) or other Technical Graduates/Post-Graduates with formal course-work in Software Development
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Development on .Net Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, MVC, .Net Core, Angular, MS-SQL / Oracle databases, OOPS, knowledge of XML and Web Services is a pre-requisite, based on job posting requirement
- Sound understanding of System Analysis & Design is expected
- Must have exposure on design patterns in Microsoft Technologies
- Keen desire to research and learn emerging technologies and ability to convert these meaningfully in the scheme of things for our products
ADDED ADVANTAGE QUALIFICATION / SKILL-SETS
- Prior experience of 4-5 years in a senior role/job profile for Software Development in an IT Products Development Company
- Prior experience of SCRUM methodology
- Exposure to understanding and proposing technical architecture involving service-oriented architecture, microservices or n-tier would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Mobile App development on iOS and Android platforms
- Knowledge of Designing and Software Testing would be advantageous
- Strong written communication
- Problem-solving capability and lateral thinking ability as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
