Role & Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
   
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
2. Tax Compliance & Planning
   
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns and other statutory compliance obligations.
• Advise management on tax-saving strategies and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws (corporate tax, GST, etc.).
• Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and their potential impact on the company.
3. Audit & Internal Controls
   
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and adherence to auditing standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to resolve audit issues.
4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
   
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and funding strategies to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop cash flow forecasting models to optimize liquidity.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and implement strategies to minimize outstanding dues.
5. Financial Decision Support
   
• Work closely with the management team to provide strategic financial insights that support business decisions and growth.
• Conduct financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis for potential investments, projects, and operational changes.
6. Regulatory Compliance
   
• Ensure the companys adherence to all legal, regulatory, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations to minimize the companys exposure to legal or regulatory issues.
7. Team Leadership & Mentoring
   
• Supervise a team of junior accountants and finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Foster a culture of financial excellence and transparency within the team.
