Job Description :
- Experienced and strategic Salesforce Revenue Cloud Specialist with Hand-on expertise in Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
- This role will focus on developing, implementing, and managing solutions that streamline the sales, pricing and quoting processes.
Revenue Cloud Development & Implementation :
- Design, configure, and implement Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions, including CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) to support complex product catalogues, pricing structures, and subscription models.
- Customize Revenue Cloud functionalities, develop custom solutions, and integrate with third-party applications and other Salesforce clouds (e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
Technical Skills :
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ, Billing (optional), and Revenue Cloud functionality, configuration, and data model.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integration tools (APIs, MuleSoft, etc.
- Experience with declarative customization (e., Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules) and DevOps tools (e., Git, Copado).
- Understanding that this is a scarce skill, a foundation in CPQ, Conga and Industries with hands on training in RLM can also be considered".
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect with 7-10 years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions. This role involves developing and customizing complex product catalogues, pricing structures, and subscription models to drive optimized Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes.
The successful candidate will lead Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance sales processes and maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, and design Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions that meet business objectives.
- Architect and implement scalable CPQ solutions, including complex pricing, discounting structures, product bundles, and custom approval processes.
- Ensure alignment of CPQ processes with broader business processes within Salesforce, including integration with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other third-party applications.
- Configure and customize Revenue Cloud functionalities, focusing on subscription management, revenue recognition, and recurring billing models.
- Develop custom solutions and enhancements to meet specific business needs, leveraging Revenue Cloud's capabilities and aligning with the organization's goals.
- Build and maintain a robust data model to support complex configurations, maintaining data integrity and supporting efficient data flows.
- Develop custom Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) as required to enhance Salesforce CPQ functionality. Implement declarative customizations, including Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules, to streamline and automate business processes.
- Create and manage integration processes with other systems using REST, SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or other integration tools to ensure seamless data flow.
- Design and configure Salesforce CPQ to handle complex catalogues and pricing models, optimizing for user experience and performance.
- Configure and manage pricing rules, product constraints, discount schedules, and approval workflows to match the company's pricing policies.
- Perform continuous optimization of the Salesforce CPQ environment, ensuring high levels of performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Use DevOps tools such as Git and Copado to manage the release process, ensuring smooth deployments and tracking changes across different environments.
- Establish a streamlined development and deployment process to minimize risk and ensure quality, using best practices for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide guidance and training to end-users, enabling them to leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce CPQ solution.
- Document technical designs, configuration changes, and user guides to support ongoing maintenance and scalability of solutions.
- Conduct regular review sessions with business and technical teams to assess CPQ and Revenue Cloud configurations and align with evolving business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Deep understanding of CPQ functionality, including configuration, pricing rules, discounting, and product catalogue management.
- Experience with billing functionalities within Revenue Cloud to manage invoicing, payment processing, and revenue recognition.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Revenue Cloud and CPQ data model to handle complex configurations and ensure data integrity.
- Proficiency in Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components for custom development and UI enhancements.
- Experience with APIs, integration tools like MuleSoft, and Salesforce connectors to integrate Revenue Cloud with third-party applications.
- Skilled in using declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules) to configure automation and streamline processes within Salesforce.
- Familiarity with DevOps and version control tools such as Git, Copado, and CI/CD best practices for Salesforce to manage releases and development environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to assess complex business requirements and develop scalable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist and/or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification.
- Experience with Agile project management and working within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
