Job details / role purpose:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting and analysis solutions using Power BI. This role will play a key part in enhancing our data visualization and reporting capabilities, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the finance function. Develops and implements strong financial internal control processes across the various functional areas of Allianz Partners. Respond to any request for additional information from senior management and developing & maintaining strong relationship with onsite team.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather requirements and design Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards to visualize financial data and KPIs effectively.
Analyse and interpret complex financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide solutions using Power BI.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Power BI reports and dashboards.
Provide training and support to end users on Power BI functionality and best practices.
Profile sought and key requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Experience in SQL, DAX, and data modelling is a plus.
1-3 years of experience in monthly accounting closing and consolidation.
System Skills
SAP, Feeder systems
Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
Strong proficiency in Power BI and data visualization techniques.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Very good written and oral communication - individual will have to work with many business units to resolve data reconciliation issues on a quarterly and monthly basis.
Dynamic person, open to change, ability to challenge existing process and having the skill set to ensure tasks are completed in a harmonised and efficient manner over time.

Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines
Other Skills
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to support and mentor other team members in the task undertaken
Provide exceptional customer service to be internal and external stakeholders
