Overall Objectives of Job:

Project Name : GIS(GEO).

A demanding role within Data Analytics Platform (DAP) that involves development and maintenance of project named GIS in ArcGIS based applications. This role offers opportunities to undertake Azure development, implementation, support & maintenance under GIS team supervised by Project Manager .

Duties and Responsibilities

• GIS tool development experience in Qgis, ArcGIS

• Advanced knowledge in Azure - Azure functions, Azure DevOps , AKS, Azure Administration, Azure networking

• Javascript , JSON development experience , Python framework, GoLang

• Linux OS level Experience

• Open layers, OSG web services(WMS, WFS, WPS etc). Open Source Map APIs

• Cloud technologies and ESRI technologies (ArcGIS pro/ArcGIS online/ArcGIS enterprise)

• Apache tomcat, Dynatrace, Geoserver

8

• Knowledge in Spatial Databases (oracle/Postgres/Azure sql instance)

• ArcGIS desktop , ArcGIS Server , QGIS , GIS Open source tool experience

Analysing issues & Configuring the database.

Must be confident in Unix Knowledge .

Qualification, Experience and Skills

BE, B Tech in Computer Science/ Geo informatics, MCA

Systematic and logical approach

Reasoning and analytic ability.

Excellent communication skills.

Good inter personal skills.

Adaptable and flexible

Experience working with Oracle & Unix scripting

Experience on ArcGIS Desktop desirable.
