Roles and responsibilities:
Experience 7 to 10 years
Making sure a companys network runs smoothly is no easy task
Like a captain running a ship, senior network engineers have many responsibilities that, if neglected, will result in catastrophic failure
The following is a list of the most important senior network engineer duties. Designing and implementing network infrastructure based on organizational
requirements. Hands-on experience on managing Fortigate firewalls, Fortinet Access points
, Fortinet Network switches. Able to Troubleshoot L1, L2, L3 level issues without relying on OEM or TAC
engineer support. Should be able to handle Studios Level Audio/Video issues. Good exposure on ZTNA & SASE
Installing and configuring network hardware like routers, switches, and
firewalls. Monitoring network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability. Maintaining network hardware and software, troubleshooting issues to
minimize downtime. Collaborating with IT professionals to develop and implement network
security measures. Automating network deployment using tools etc
Required Skills & qualifications:

Fortinet Network Security
Fortigate Firewall,
Load balancer,
SLB & WAF NAT
Policy Creation
Application Control
VPNs (Site-Site, IPSEC)
Remote Access VPN SSL
Networking TCP/IP Protocols,
IPv4, DHCP, DNS, OSI, NAT, ACL, Subnetting
Routing & Switching
Static Routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF), VLAN, DTP, VTP,
STP, RSTP,
Ether-Channel, Port-Security, HSRP, GLBP, Cisco Routers and Switches. Other Basic knowledge of MFA and VMware
