Job Description

Create Sound Effects and Music: Design and produce high-quality sound effects using tools like FMOD, Adobe Audition, or other industry-standard software. Compose and implement music that enhances the overall gaming experience.

Character Creation and Animation: Collaborate with animators and character artists in modeling and animation tools such as Blender, Maya, or other applicable software. Ensure that character audio elements align with the visual aspects and contribute to the characters personality.

Documentation and Worldbuilding: Document audio design processes, decisions, and technical details for future reference.

Contribute to worldbuilding by creating audio elements that enhance the narrative and atmosphere of the game world.

Planning and Organization: Use planning tools like Nuclino or other project management software to organize and schedule audio-related tasks. Participate in planning sessions to contribute ideas and strategies for achieving the desired audio experience.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and compelling player experience.

Virtual reality (VR) gaming and augmented reality (AR) gaming may be considered in the future.
