Job Description

The following provides an overview of the responsibilities that we presently envision for this role. These will be continuously updated as new initiatives are explored.

Game Development: Utilize game engines such as Unity, Godot, or other relevant tools to create interactive and visually stunning game environments. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to implement game mechanics, features, and systems.

Modeling Animation: Develop high-quality 3D models and animations using tools like Blender, Maya, or other industry-standard software. Optimize assets for performance without compromising visual quality.

Sound Effects Music: Create and implement engaging sound effects and music using software like FMOD, Adobe Audition, or other audio production tools. Ensure audio assets enhance the overall gaming experience and align with the creative vision.

Character Creation: Design and develop unique and compelling characters using tools like Daz Studio or other character creation software. Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure characters fit seamlessly into the game world.

Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation for code, design, and development processes. Maintain and update documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for the development team.

Worldbuilding: Contribute to the creation and expansion of game worlds, including level design, storytelling, and environmental design. Collaborate with narrative and design teams to ensure a cohesive and immersive player experience.

Planning: Utilize planning tools such as Nuclino or other project management software to organize tasks, set milestones, and track progress. Work closely with the project lead to ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and compelling player experience.

Virtual reality (VR) gaming and augmented reality (AR) gaming may be considered in the future.
