• Education: CA
• Experience: 8-10 years

Industry : Pharmaceuticals, FMCG , Manufacturing sector

Purpose of the role

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Tax functions across the organization's supporting the organization's long-term financial goals. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, formulating tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position including offering structuring solutions and managing tax risks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing data and submissions for assessments, audits and tax litigations.
• Preparation, filing and processing of refund. Ensuring GST refunds are received from Government Authorities without any delay.
• Administering Indirect Tax compliance for the companys operations; contributing in Strategic Planning, Legal & Procedural Compliances, and Litigation for PAN India
• Ensuring monthly MIS on GST Refunds, Litigation Matters, Audits, Assessments and Appeals.
• Scheduling and organizing training sessions for Taxation Team on tax education for various tax matters, amendments, notifications, and so on to spread awareness on updating in tax law and regulations.
• Liaising with Auditors, Tax Consultants, and Government Regulatory Authorities for managing Statutory, legal opinions, tax planning & efficiency, and other matters on an ongoing basis.
