Quality Engineer(Manual &Automation Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Assist in the creation and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation tools.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with best testing practices and quality standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, providing input on quality assurance strategies.
• Continuously enhance testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Good understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, QTest, or similar.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java for automation.
• Hands-on experience with performance and security testing.
• Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent) is a plus.
