Role
The role entails overseeing a portion of the company's sales operations and involves a combination of strategic planning, team leadership, and direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand into new markets, and enhance the company's competitiveness.
• Lead business development initiatives for Alea services, targeting new clients and fostering business growth with existing clients.
• Lead and mentor a team of managers and professionals in business development and operations. Appoint tasks and roles within the department.
• Recruit and retain top talent, foster a positive work environment, and ensure staff development and training.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate major contracts, resolve client issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and refine scope letters, proposals, and client communications before, during, and after engagement.
• Oversee financial aspects of business development and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure that financial targets are met and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and human resources, to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts across the company.
• Engage in company activities, high-level cases, and corporate meetings for seamless client coordination and updates.
• Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the business development and operations teams.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments that could impact the business.
• Report to the CEO or Board of Directors on business development and operational progress and challenges.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to network effectively and establish strong interpersonal connections.
• Proficient in delivering presentations, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
• Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality in all business interactions.
• Exceptional skills in written communication.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of reputation risk and the compliance sector.
• Strategic mindset with insights into finance, regulatory frameworks, and business operations.
• Skilled in supporting tasks related to due diligence and corporate investigations.
• Preferred educational background includes a degree in MBA, or Post-Graduate qualifications in Finance, Banking, or Business Development.
• Professional experience ranging from 6 to 10 years.
