3D Design Engineer (Soild Works)

Design Development:

Utilize SolidWorks software to develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings of furniture products, components, and assemblies.
Translate conceptual sketches and design specifications into accurate and manufacturable designs.
Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and ergonomic requirements while optimizing for cost and performance.
CAD Modeling and Simulation:

Create parametric models and assemblies in SolidWorks, incorporating design features, dimensions, and materials.
Conduct virtual simulations and analyses to validate design integrity, performance, and structural stability.
Optimize designs for material efficiency, weight reduction, and ease of manufacturing.
Drafting and Documentation:

Generate comprehensive engineering drawings, schematics, and bill of materials (BOM) for production purposes.
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for design files and drawings.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to review design concepts and provide input.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify design requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure project alignment.
Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and project meetings to share ideas and contribute to design improvements.
Quality Assurance:

Perform rigorous quality checks on design drawings and models to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Address design discrepancies, tolerances, and fitment issues identified during reviews or simulations.
Work closely with quality assurance and manufacturing teams to implement design changes and improvements.
