AutoCAD Design Engineer

Design Development:

Interpret conceptual designs and sketches to develop detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
Create 2D and 3D models of furniture products, including dimensions, materials, and specifications.
Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and functionality of designs.
Incorporate design feedback and modifications to refine and enhance product designs.
Drafting and Documentation:

Generate accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for furniture components and assemblies.
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing requirements.
Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and specifications for materials, finishes, and hardware.
Maintain organized documentation and revision control for design files and drawings.
Product Optimization:

Identify opportunities for design optimization to improve product performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct design reviews and analysis to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design changes and enhancements.
Quality Assurance:

Perform quality checks on design drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
Address design discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
Ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to support project objectives.
