Responsibilities:
-Expand customer base, maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and follow the sales process with the required rigor.
-Proven track record in new client acquisition & exceeding targets with management of a personal portfolio of prospect & suspect Corporate & MICE accounts
-Should be able to maximize up selling opportunities and forge / develop close business relationships with key decision makers in target organizations.
-Good product knowledge on Destinations and MICE group operations Reasonably travelled and strong destination knowledge
-Recruiting, training and hand holding new team members and going on calls with them to prospective customers
-Analyze and monitor the current market and prepare a business plan to identify and develop new opportunities for MICE and achieve the desired revenue.
-It's a cross-functional role hence a go getter, who has done business development in past and have a fair understanding of operations (Domestic & International) too would be an appropriate fit.
-Highly creative; who understands use of technology in events and is willing to experiment new ideas and uses innovation to ensure outstanding experience for clients.
-Evaluate all the existing contacts & identify the potential prospects by understanding the Market through the Internet, Business Contacts, and Trade Fairs etc.
-Close coordination with operations to ensure smooth execution of each assignment as per the desired parameter specified by the client and delivery as per the schedule.
