Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Security:
- Manage IT network, data center cloud, and security infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Lead infrastructure and security management across data centers and branch networks.
- Develop and enforce networking safeguards to mitigate breaches and protect sensitive data.
- Design and implement secure network architectures, ensuring compliance with standards like PCI DSS.
Strategic Technology Leadership:
- Develop and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of both public and private cloud solutions. Identify and leverage emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and maintain competitive advantage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine policies and streamline processes using technology.
Engineering Leadership:
- Lead a team of engineers, including software developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals.
- Establish and maintain best practices for engineering standards, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure products.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across technology stacks, processes, and methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency.
Project Management:
- Oversee IT project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop project concepts, functionality requirements, schedules, and budgets. Validate post-implementation reviews to ensure ROI and value realization.
- Review project performance reports and manage stakeholder expectations.
Finance & Budgeting:
- Oversee IT and telecom budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Define expense parameters and forecast costs for new technology rollouts and upgrades.
- Provide strategic financial projections for technology initiatives.
Governance & Communication:
- Present technology strategies and updates to the board of directors and executive leadership.
- Develop and implement internal communication systems (e.g., email, instant messaging) and internet usage policies. Manage digital media assets to align with organizational goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology with business goals Strong leadership and team management capabilities to inspire and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. Analytical mind set with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of fintech, regulatory frameworks, and security protocols. Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 15 years in IT/technology roles, with 5+ years in senior leadership positions.
- Strong track record in delivering complex software products and IT infrastructure solutions in the fintech/financial services industry.
