Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating Web-based UI testing, visual testing automation, and working with cloud platforms like AWS.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript for web-based UI testing.
• Implement and enhance visual testing automation to ensure UI consistency across different platforms and browsers.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to manage test environments and deployment.
• Maintain version control and test repositories using Git.
• Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and provide detailed bug reports.
• Ensure test coverage for all critical user flows and edge cases to maintain software quality.

• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript for automated UI testing.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern front-end technologies.
• Experience in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud services for testing and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of GIT, and CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Experience working in a Linux-based environment.
• Good understanding of visual testing automation tools and methodologies.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
