Job Title: Telesales Executive (SEA Market)

About the Role


We are looking for a motivated Telesales Executive to spearhead outbound cold calling efforts for the Southeast Asia (SEA) market, operating from our Hyderabad office. The primary objective is to reach out to potential customers, introduce our solutions, build rapport, and secure sales opportunities. This role demands a high level of comfort with telephone-based outreach, a strong consultative selling approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


Cold Calling & Lead Generation

    • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to potential clients in the SEA region.
    • Identify decision-makers, qualify prospects, and generate interest in our products or services.

Sales Pitch & Value Proposition

    • Deliver clear and compelling product/service overviews tailored to the SEA markets needs.
    • Address initial objections, gather insights on pain points, and propose relevant solutions.

Pipeline Management

    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in CRM.
    • Follow up consistently with leads to move them through the sales cycle.

Negotiation & Closing

    • Handle pricing discussions, explain contractual details, and manage deal negotiations.
    • Successfully close deals to achieve or exceed individual and team targets.

Market Feedback & Reporting

    • Track and report daily/weekly call activities, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
    • Gather feedback from prospects to help refine sales strategies and improve product positioning.

Collaboration

    • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to align messaging and ensure a seamless customer journey.
    • Contribute insights and best practices during team meetings to enhance cold calling approaches.

Qualifications & Skills


Educational Background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field (preferred but not mandatory with proven experience).

Experience

    • 1–3 years of experience in outbound telesales or cold calling (international calling experience is a plus).
    • Proven success in achieving or surpassing lead generation and sales targets.

Language & Communication

    • Fluency in English is mandatory; strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
    • Ability to clearly convey product benefits and handle objections confidently.

Sales Competencies

    • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and sales activities.
    • Strong negotiation and closing techniques; high resilience to handle rejection in cold calling.

Customer Focus & Adaptability

    • Quick thinking, problem-solving mindset, and customer-centric approach.
    • Willingness to adapt communication style to various cultural nuances in the SEA market.

Personal Attributes

    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
