Akasa Air - Senior Product Manager - eCommerce (5-8 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

Product Management:

- Ideate and develop innovative, disruptive features that set new standards in the web and app space for aviation.

The product manager would be responsible for the following key areas:

- Booking funnel: Responsible for end-to-end booking funnel optimisat

- Mobile App: Creating a unique value proposition for the mobile app while enhancing stability & customer experience

- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps, detailing timelines and managing all assigned product activities to ensure successful delivery.

- Conduct thorough market research, analyse user feedback, and identify trends to guide product decisions.

- Drive execution and monitoring of all stages within the product lifecycle, from ideation and creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release.

- Conceptualize and define best-in-class features, translating them into detailed product specifications.

- Monitor key performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and derive actionable insights to drive continuous product improvement.

- Experimenting with, implementing, and operationalising AI tools into identified workflows.

Cross functional collaboration:

- Work closely with engineering teams to establish and maintain development best practices.

- Secure consensus and buy-in from key internal and external stakeholders for project timelines and deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile:

- MBA / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Top Colleges preferred).

- 2 to 4 years of product management experience on web and app, preferably in an eCommerce company.

- Demonstrated ability to develop product roadmaps, ideate disruptive features, prioritise requirements, and deliver high-quality products on schedule.

- A passion for solving user pain points and a user-centric mindset to drive product innovation

Skills :

- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Working knowledge of analytics/monitoring tools GA4/GA4 360 or similar, Webengage or similar, Firebase.

- Experience with data visualization and analytical tools desired, but not mandatory. Intermediate to expert level experience with MS Office suite including Excel.
