Job Description

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will specialize in creating solutions that help improve automation and efficiencies. You will be expected to drive automation, operational excellence, and support our customer facing applications and infrastructure. This requires creative thinking with domain expertise in Linux systems administration, configuration management, performance tuning, hardware engineering.

As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with our support, operations and engineering teams, investigate and troubleshoot complex problems.
Developing processes, plans, and infrastructure to deploy new software components and updates safely and efficiently at scale.
Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues.
Improving our system monitoring and analysis platform to speed error detection and remediation, enhancing performance and reliability.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have relevant experience (8-12yrs) and a bachelors engineering degree in computer science or its equivalent.
Possess expert experience in Systems engineering, Linux Administration, DevOps/Software engineering role, working with large scale distributed systems.
Can troubleshoot any kind of systemic issues and develop large scale automations.
Experience in Python (or Golang) programming language and hands-on expertise with SaltStack/Ansible and Terraform.
Be able to work in alignment with strategic business initiatives, collaborate with colleagues in multiple geographical locations.
Have experience with architecting software and infrastructure at scale with a sense of ownership and accountability
