As a Senior Product Manager for Akamais Infrastructure Security products, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and execution for industry-leading DDoS protection solutions.

This role requires a deep technical understanding of infrastructure security and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include :

- Defining and executing the product strategy aligning with customer needs, market trends, and companys vision.

- Acting as a technical product expert, providing guidance to cross-functional teams on the products architecture, features, and capabilities.

- Gathering and translating business and technical requirements from customers, market research, and emerging technology trends into actionable product development plans.

- Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery of high-performance security solutions.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, championing their needs within the organization, and supporting key sales efforts and customer escalations.

- Monitoring and analyzing the competitive landscape, threat environment, and industry standards to keep the product roadmap aligned with the evolving market trends.

Do what you love :

To be successful in this role you will :

- Have a Bachelors degree or its equivalent and 10+ years of relevant experience with a focus on infrastructure security, DDoS mitigation, or related cybersecurity technologies.

- Have experience with computer networking and a solid understanding of key Internet technologies including IP Routing / BGP / DNS / TLS / HTTPS

- Proven ability to gather and translate complex technical and business requirements into clear prioritized product roadmaps and development plans

- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams, as well as presenting to executive leadership and managing customer escalations.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate market trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs to deliver innovative solutions.
