Job Description
- Managing the lifecycle of Akamai IT assets and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Ensuring complete and accurate IT hardware asset information and their relationships to IT services in the CMDB.
- Designing and implementing Service Mapping for IT services and infrastructure components in ServiceNow.
- Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to integrate systems, define requirements, and automate CI updates.
- Monitoring CMDB data integrity through regular audits, quality controls, and governance policies.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and reports on service mapping performance, data quality, and process efficiency.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an understanding of IT service offerings, standards, policies, business strategies, and financials.
- Have excellent communication, collaboration, and basic project management skills.
- Have knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework .
- Have good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
- Have extensive experience in service mapping within a CMDB environment, including tools like ServiceNow Service Mapping.
