Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Optimization: Ensure maximum service availability and performance through proactive monitoring and swift resolution.
2. Juniper-Centric Network Services: Configure and maintain customer network services on Juniper core equipment.
3. Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to Engineering and other technical teams.
4. Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex IP network and VoIP issues, leveraging Juniper solutions for efficient fault resolution.
5. Operational Excellence: Manage and grow monitoring systems for early warning alerts, ensuring accurate and timely notifications.
6. Documentation: Maintain and develop detailed technical documentation and run-books to streamline operations.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve service delivery with innovative solutions.

What We re Looking For:

• Juniper Experience: Hands-on experience with Juniper equipment and protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS). Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIP) are highly valued.
• Technical Prowess: Strong understanding of IP networking (layers 1-3), routing protocols, and troubleshooting at carrier/enterprise levels.
• VoIP Expertise: Ability to analyze and resolve VoIP network issues, including SIP-level troubleshooting.
• Linux Skills: Proficiency with Linux CLI and basic system administration.
• Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data from diverse sources.
• Communication: Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical issues into actionable insights.
• Team Player: Collaborative approach with a willingness to assist and learn from others.

Additional Skills That Set You Apart:

• Strong Cisco or Juniper routing/switching knowledge (Multicast, QoS, IPv6).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and the ability to implement improvements proactively.
