Aem Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality AEM applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of AEM solutions that meet the organization's goals and requirements

• Design, develop, implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications
• Develop Digital Consumer experiences using Adobes AEM product suite, including WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration.
• Extensive knowledge in AEM architecture and technology (Experience in Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows is required.) 
• Experience integrating AEM with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products, such as Analytics, Target, Campaign 
• Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content & collaboration solutions and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launchers, workflows, localization features, and the AEM DAM.
• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
• Expertise in Day CQ foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all Day CQ building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc, and the CQ development and deployment process. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM development
• Stay up to date with the latest AEM updates, tools, and technologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve the development process
• Provide technical guidance to junior AEM developers, follow best practices in AEM development both back-end and front-end execution
• Experience with Junit and other testing frameworks in AEM
• Experience with Angular or similar web application framework

Preferred candidate profile

Extensive knowledge in AEM architecture and technology (Experience in Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows is required.) 

Proficiency in AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and 

bundles. 

Experience with communicating to different internal servers, databases from AEM, using both front end

(ajax, cookies) and backend technologies (servlet, osgi service, Sling) 

• 5+ years of work experience in developing AEM applications
• This experience should include a strong understanding of the AEM ecosystem, javascript, Java and relevant frameworks and tools
