AI Engineering Delivery Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Engineering Delivery Manager to own and provide technical leadership and guidance across the AI Engineering teams and AI product line. You will spearhead the development, implementation, and delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role requires expertise in the full lifecycle of Data & AI solutions, from conceptualization to production deployment and ongoing optimization and support.

Responsibilities:

• Lead from the front as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting and crafting scalable AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Own and lead delivery of AI and Generative AI solutions, including discriminative AI models, large language models, computer vision systems, and other advanced AI applications.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams of data engineers, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, robust AI architectures and systems that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, machine learning operations (MLOps/LLMOps), and responsible AI development.
• Manage relationships with customer stakeholders, key technology partners, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of data and AI solutions.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI engineering projects, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and business impact.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and craft tailored Data & AI solutions.
• Work closely to align engineering efforts with overall delivery goals and to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Work closely with the presales team to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, ensuring compelling value propositions.
• Bridge the gap between technology and business by translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Data & AI products and solutions.
• Collaborate with product management teams to provide insights for future product enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters in engineering - Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale AI initiatives.
• Research oriented mindset with a strong understanding of machine learning and AI technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Expertise with cutting edge technologies such as transfer learning, unsupervised feature generation, meta-learning, generative text models, computer vision, sensor fusion, or reinforcement learning
• Experience with MLOps and LLMOps practices and tools for building and deploying production-ready machine learning systems.
• Solid grasp of data governance, security, and ethical AI principles, with experience Implementing these in enterprise environments.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
