Structure Engineer ( Design )

Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design:

• Lead the development of structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
• Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed and efficient design solutions.
• Ensure that designs meet project requirements, codes, and industry standards.

2. Analysis and Modeling:

• Conduct structural analysis using advanced engineering software to assess the performance of designs under various conditions.
• Create detailed 3D models to visualize and optimize structural configurations.

3. Innovation and Optimization:

• Explore and implement innovative design solutions to optimize structural performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable and resilient design principles.

4. Project Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
• Provide technical support to construction teams during the implementation phase.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough reviews of design calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

2. Experience:

• X years of experience in structural engineering with a strong emphasis on design.
• Proven experience in delivering successful structural designs for a variety of projects.

3. Skills:

• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RAM Structural System).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.

4. Certifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Additional certifications related to structural design (e.g., SE) are a plus.
