Job description
1. Planning and execution of procurement process for multiple projects as per the requirement & nature of each project.
2. Person shall be required to manage procurement and supply chain for all projects PAN India centrally.
3. Vendor management and developing local channel partners and SIs in each region of project operations through proper evaluation and selection process
4. Coordination with project authorities & other departments to understand and pre plan the procurement activities in order to ensure smooth supply of materials for a given period /stage of a project.
5. To ensure procurement of material as per laid procedures from management under approval from competent authority and compliance as per statutory norms on a day to day basis.
6. To ensure procurement at optimum prices, as per current market conditions and also ensure proper quality as per the specification and desired output from the material.
7. Co - ordinate with Management Committee in HO for obtaining approval for high value orders for projects.
8. Providing information and inputs to management regarding the new products and procedures available in the market in order to improve output and save cost.
9. Providing data about procurement and analysis of such information in form of reports to management that can be utilized as a tool for decision making.
10. Communicate and implement management policies within the department and also assigning goals to respective team members according to their strength & weaknesses.Role & responsibilities
