AGRIM - Senior Business Analyst - SQL/Python - IIT/NIT/BITS (2-5 yrs)

In India, there are 140M+ farmers who are served by 1M+ agri-input retailers for all their agri-input needs.

These retailers are the backbone of the overall value chain and primarily rely on :

(A) Deep understanding of local consumption patterns

(B) Strong relationships with farmers

(C) Offering of short-term credit

(D) Overall cost-effectiveness

However, there are key challenges for retailers that limit their business growth :

(A) Limited product selection via traditional distributors

(B) Inefficient sourcing

(C) Working capital pressure

We, at Agrim, are re-imagining this $50bn market. We want to transform the traditional supply chain and infuse it with technology, modern retail best practices & data science for credit underwriting.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Able to understand the Data and enable Actionable Insights from the Data and Report

2. Solve Challenging and Muddy problems leveraging the Fundamentals of Analytics and Business Intelligence.

3. You need to have hunger to bring change in the organisation leveraging the power of Data

4. Experience building and designing complex dashboards

5. Develop Reports for Business to influence Key Business KPIs

6. Work with Business Stakeholders and Design the Solutions

Requirements :

1. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements

2. 3-5 years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst or a similar role involving data extraction, analysis, and Problem Solving

3. Proficiency in Building Dashboards enabling Business Impact and Drawing Insights

4. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away

5. A keen learner and willing to adapt to new environments

6. Can lead, work independently as well as play a key role in a team

7. Hands-on experience with Expert Level SQL and Python
