AgreeYa Solutions - Database Architect - Health Management Information System (9-14 yrs)

As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the structural framework of our complex Healthcare Information System (HIS) database.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing SQL queries, database schema, and stored procedures to ensure high performance and efficiency at the application layer.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review and Optimize SQL Queries: Analyze and fine-tune SQL queries to improve performance and reduce execution time.

- Database Schema Management: Design, review, and optimize database schemas to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

- Stored Procedures: Develop, review, and optimize stored procedures to enhance database performance and functionality.

- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the database and application layer.

- Data Modeling: Create and maintain complex data models that support the HIS requirements.

- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to ensure database solutions meet business needs.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database designs, configurations, and optimization processes.

- Security: Implement and enforce database security protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data.

- Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity.

- Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience 12+ years as a Database Architect or similar role, with a focus on SQL query optimization, database schema design, and stored procedure development.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MS SQL, Azure SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

- Strong understanding of database performance tuning techniques.

- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.

- Familiarity with HIS databases and healthcare data standards is a plus.

- Azure Cloud experience / certification

- Experience working with Microservice architecture, CDC, Kafka, DB data sync
