Job Title: Manager - Accounts Payable
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification from a Tier-1 college
- 5-8 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Coordination:
a. Collaborate with domestic and international vendors in the logistics sector to obtain accurate payment details and statements of account for reconciliation.
2. Vendor Account Reconciliation:
a. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all vendor accounts upon receipt of invoices from the Operations Department.
3. Invoice Approval:
a. Verify that all invoices are approved by the appropriate authority before processing.
4. Cost Management:
a. Notify the reporting manager if any costs to be accounted exceed the projected cost.
5. Tax Compliance:
a. Ensure GST is correctly applied on invoices and TDS is deducted appropriately.
6. ERP System Management:
a. Accurately record entries in the ERP system by ensuring the correct ledger accounts are debited.
7. Credit/Debit Notes:
a. Issue credit and debit notes after thorough verification, following instructions from the Head of Finance.

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and best practices
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and coordination skills with both domestic and international vendors
- Knowledge of GST and TDS regulations
