Job Description

Position: Presales Specialist

Experience Level: 4-5 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Presales Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, as well as in proposal writing, tender response, and bid management. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and exceptional communication skills to support our sales team in winning new business.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. RFP, RFQ, and RFI Management:
    • Analyse and interpret RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to understand customer requirements and develop tailored responses.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of responses to meet deadlines.
  2. Proposal Writing:
    • Develop and write compelling, clear, and concise proposals that address client needs and showcase our value proposition.
    • Customize proposals to highlight relevant experience, capabilities, and solutions.
    • Maintain and update a repository of proposal templates, case studies, and other relevant documents.
  3. Tender Response:
    • Lead and manage the entire tender response process, including coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Review and refine tender documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
    • Conduct thorough quality checks on all tender submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Bid Management:
    • Oversee the bid management process, from initial identification to final submission.
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop winning strategies and competitive pricing models.
    • Track and report on the progress of bids, ensuring all deadlines are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  5. Client Engagement:
    • Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand their needs and articulate our solutions effectively.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the presales process.
    • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team during client interactions.
  6. PowerPoint Presentations:
    • Develop and deliver high-quality PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex technical concepts and business solutions.
    • Create visually appealing and informative slides that support sales pitches and client meetings.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure presentations align with client needs and company messaging.
  7. Market and Industry Research:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform proposal development and sales strategies.
    • Stay updated on the latest developments in technology and industry standards relevant to our products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in presales, proposal writing, bid management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Technical background or understanding of the Web, Mobile and Web 3.0 solutions is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
