Immediate Opening: Python Automation Engineer For Storage Domain

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer proficient in Storage, Python (Object Oriented) and Robot Framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in automating REST APIs specifically for Storage and Backup & Recovery applications. This role demands strong skills in Dockerized & Linux environments, coupled with a deep understanding of GIT/BitBucket for code versioning. As part of our Agile/SCRUM team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a proactive approach are essential to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs using Python and Robot Framework.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of automation processes for our SaaS-based applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
• Implement and maintain code repositories using GIT/BitBucket.
• Work in a Dockerized & Linux environment to deploy and manage automation frameworks.
• Participate actively in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to team goals.
• Generate comprehensive reports and documentation for test activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in automating REST APIs with Python (Object Oriented) & Robot Framework.
• Strong proficiency in GIT/BitBucket for version control.
• Practical experience with Dockerized & Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and collaborative tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
